Job summary

Jackson County Government Public Works department is seeking an inspector to join our team. The role involves field inspections of roadway construction, bridges, culverts, and road maintenance, with involvement in technical design support for projects.

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree, four years of relevant experience, a valid Missouri driver's license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of experience in road construction and quality control inspection, drafting and plan specification design, project management or the combined experience.
• Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities
