This is a full-time hybrid Construction Inspector role based in Honolulu, HI, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs. The Construction Inspector is responsible for performing on-site inspections of civil and vertical construction projects to verify compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and quality standards. Daily activities include observing construction work, documenting field conditions, preparing inspection reports, and communicating findings to project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients. The role involves monitoring materials and workmanship, checking asphalt and other infrastructure work, verifying corrective actions, and supporting quality control and construction management processes. The Construction Inspector will also assist in coordinating with the multidisciplinary MAI team, attending project meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of inspection procedures.
