WSP, one of the world’s leading engineering firms, is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee road, bridge or associated construction projects ranging from $1 to $50 million. The position may be based in Portland, Augusta, or Eliot, ME, or Merrimack, NH.
The inspector will oversee work elements including excavation, backfilling, compaction, cast‑in‑place concrete (from formwork to reinforcement), installation of precast elements, bridge seats, bearings, joints, bridge rail, drainage, paving and other incidental items. The inspector reports to the Resident Engineer or their designee.
