Who You Are:
Precision Systems is seeking to hire a Construction Inspector with knowledge and experience of construction standards and practices. The ideal candidate will have 3 – 7 years of experience performing construction inspection within Virginia to perform work for VDOT. The Construction Inspector will inspect all phases of highway construction and maintenance projects under the general supervision of senior or supervisory staff, ensuring construction quality in accordance with plans and specifications and providing a quality transportation system for the traveling public.

It is anticipated that the Department will require Construction Inspector positions with various combinations of certifications throughout the life of this contract. The specific certifications required for a given task will be identified by the Department at the time the task is assigned.
Completion of the Inspector Trainee program may substitute one year of experience.
Note: The rate for this Working Title/Class is subject to the Maximum Hourly Rate listed in the current Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Classification Hourly Rate Pay Limitations Memorandum.
