EXP Services Inc. invites you to join our construction inspection team in West Virginia. You will monitor highway projects, review plans, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.
The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering or related field, 1–3 years of inspection experience, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel. WVDOH certification or ability to obtain within six months is required.

In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring and evaluating highway construction projects to ensure compliance with design plans, industry standards, and safety regulations. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and government agencies to uphold quality and regulatory requirements. The Ideal candidate must possess an excellent knowledge of construction practices and procedures including interpretation of contract plans, special provisions, specifications, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate shall have a working knowledge of state and federal standards, specifications, Traffic Control manual, materials certification, materials testing procedures, as well as being certified by the WVDOH for sampling and testing aggregate, Portland cement concrete, bituminous concrete, compaction testing and possess, and nuclear certifications in the State of West Virginia.
The candidate must be a WVDOH TRET Certified or able to obtain certification within 6 months per guideline included in the link below.
