We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction Inspector with 1+ year of experience to join our team. This position involves construction phase testing and inspection of foundation construction; earthwork; soil placement and compaction; concrete; reinforcing steel; and various other construction materials and operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel)
• Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results
• Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis
• Preparation of field data and technical reports
• Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections

Requirements

• 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing
• Associates Degree
• Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification
• Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred
• ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications highly preferred
• The estimated compensation range for this position is $22/hr to $28/hr
