Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year of construction experience.
• All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements.
• Must be physically fit, have a driver’s license, not be afraid of heights and have good communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and verifies contractor work to ensure contract compliance and adherence to plans.
• Confirms procedures followed and materials conform to specifications.
• Performs rudimentary mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintains Inspector's daily report of activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Assists in on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
