A leading construction management firm based in Pittsburgh is seeking a Construction Inspection Supervisor for Spring 2025. This role involves supervising the daily inspection of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, documenting work through required reports, and proactively addressing issues. Ideal candidates must have six years of relevant experience and hold a Professional Engineer’s License along with NECIT Level IV Certification. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing and supervising daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications
• Be proactive and alert project management professionals to issues that may come up in the field
• Provide solutions to mitigate those problems
• Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards
• Must be able to documentthe work via PennDOT or the Pennsylvania Turnpike's daily inspection report and various other reports.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years minimum of transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience and has attained NICET Level IV Certification in Highway Construction, only NICET Certifications in Highway Construction are allowed unless special circumstances of other NICET subfields are requested for Central Office approval and either PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification or NECEPT Field Technician Certification
• Must hold an active Professional Engineer’s License.
