Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Associate to join our CAAS (Construction Industry) team based out of one of our offices: Orlando, FL; Tampa, FL; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; or St. Louis, MO.

The role focuses on client service, day-to-day transactions, month-end processing, and quarterly/annual processing for construction industry clients. A bachelor's degree is required and accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.
• Construction industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Month End Processing: Completes financial statements. Coordinates and completes account reconciliations (i.e. bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals).
• Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.
