Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a dependable Construction Helper to support project teams with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You'll assist with site prep, material handling, demolition, installations, and general cleanup, gaining hands-on construction experience.

Construction or labor experience is a plus, and CDL experience or certification is a bonus. You will work closely with project managers, operate tools, and help maintain a safe, organized

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Work closely with project managers and supervisors to understand daily assignments and priorities.
• Prepare and maintain job sites by clearing debris and organizing work areas.
• Assist with demolition and removal of structures as needed.
• Help assemble and install construction components under the direction of experienced team members.
• Build, set up, and take down temporary structures such as scaffolding and bracing.
• Dig, backfill, level, and compact soil for construction and foundation work.
• Operate or assist with construction equipment and power tools while following all safety procedures.
• Load, unload, and move materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Perform other construction‑related duties as assigned.
