Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking a Construction General Superintendent (Interiors) to lead interior construction projects in the Atlanta area, ensuring plans, specifications and budgets are met.

The successful applicant will oversee subcontractors, site personnel, safety, and coordination with PMs, architects, and clients to ensure goals are achieved and a high-quality handover is delivered.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as superintendent.
  • Projects in and around Atlanta.
  • Experience with interiors-based subcontractors.
  • Ideally MOB or medical office building projects.
  • Experience in construction, mixed commercial, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, higher education, senior living.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in Construction Management or related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of interior construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations across all job sites.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
  • Review and approve project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure completion of punch lists before project handover.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction General Superintendent (Interiors) should have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as superintendent
  • Projects in and around Atlanta
  • Experience with interiors-based subcontractors
  • Ideally construction experience with MOB or medical office building projects
  • Experience in construction, mixed commercial, retail, hospitality, mixed-use, higher education, senior living
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in Construction Management or related field, preferred
