Responsibilities

• Establish team objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards aligned with Harris strategy.
• Conduct market research to identify potential projects and secure new work regularly.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple levels.
• Monitor overall quantity and timeliness of team deliverables.
• Ensure team alignment with Harris programs, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Harris leaders to contribute to overall success.
• Manage and resolve issues that arise.
• Participate in strategic planning processes.
• Plan, staff, supervise division activities including personnel administration and defining roles.
• Collaborate with Human Capital to recruit, interview, hire, train, mentor team members.
• Foster Harris culture and emphasize a strong safety culture.
• Provide growth and development opportunities through training and continuing education.
• Collaborate with Salt Lake City office for interdepartmental relations.
• Review monthly financials and proactively manage the business unit.
• Manage receivables, productivity, change orders, and impacts on project performance.
• Prepare teams for monthly project reviews with leadership.
• Aim for annual business unit growth and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and submit yearly financial plans and forecasts.
• Communicate assumptions used in forecasts and ensure WIP accuracy.
• Prepare to discuss status of WIP in management reviews.
• Work with direct reports to understand status of WIP.
