FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary: Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner.

While experience in the following areas is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual: electrical, sanding, mudding, painting, roofing, framing, and finish carpentry. Applicants must have a good attendance record, a safe work record, and reliable transportation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor in assigned areas.
• Keep work areas neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and work orders.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Competencies

• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Understanding of safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education, or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is preferred.
• Experience in electrical, sanding, mudding, painting, roofing, framing, or finish carpentry is desirable, but training is available for the right candidate.
• Applicants must have a good attendance record, a safe work record, and reliable transportation.
