Barnhill Contracting Company is seeking a general laborer to support asphalt paving and grading crews. The role includes acting as a spotter for trucks and equipment, performing unskilled tasks, and handling basic tools during manual labor on-site.

Requirements include at least one year of experience or willingness to train, a valid NC driver’s license, and the ability to learn multiple tasks while following safety rules. Weekend and some night work may be required.

Qualifications

• One year experience, but training will be provided

Responsabilités

• Performs unskilled tasks related to asphalt paving and grading
• Operates tools such as shovel, rake, lute, broom, hammer, saw, drill and tamp
• May operate a farm-type tractor with power broom attachment
• Serve as designated spotter with training provided
