Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Laborer 1 to support skilled trades on diverse construction projects in Wichita, KS. You will load, unload, and distribute materials, assist in site cleanup, and help operate basic site tools, always under supervisor guidance.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), training or equivalent experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Apprentice or Vocational/Technical/Trade training preferred.
In lieu of the above, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assists other trades by loading, unloading, and distributing materials as assigned.
Assists in dismantling and transporting construction materials.
Collects and disposes of trash on and around the jobsite daily.
Performs general cleaning and trash removal for the jobsite trailer.
Cleans and maintains concrete and forming tools.
Operates pumps and equipment for site dewatering needs.
Organizes and cleans conex containers and gang boxes daily.
Responsible for construction gate duty and flagging responsibilities.
Responsible for PPE compliance and following OSHA standards.
