Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a General Laborer to assist skilled trades on various construction projects, including new builds and renovations. The role involves loading, unloading, material handling, cleaning, and site maintenance to support overall project progress.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance and following supervisor directions, while contributing to a clean and organized jobsite. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs and be available for non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years commercial construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working at projected heights, in trenches, and in narrow spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist other trades by loading, unloading, and distributing materials as assigned.
• Assist in dismantling and transporting construction materials.
• Collect and dispose of trash on and around the jobsite daily.
• Perform general cleaning and trash removal for the jobsite trailer.
• Operate pumps and equipment for site dewatering as needed.
• Ensure PPE compliance and safety standards per OSHA.
