Job summary

Sunland Asphalt is seeking a General Laborer to support construction projects on site, using power and hand tools while maintaining safety and efficiency. The role requires following Foreman directions, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with crew members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Applicants should be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Duties require physical labor and use of power/hand tools.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures on site.
• Strong communication with foremen, crew and drivers.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront.
• Work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent directions for daily schedule.
• Be safety advocate and participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and report equipment issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to complete jobs.
