Sunland Asphalt in Phoenix, AZ is seeking General Laborers to perform a variety of physical tasks, including the use of power tools and hand tools on the job site.

Preferred experience includes Crack Seal, Sealcoat, Chip Seal, Slurry Seal, and Striping. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and drivers must meet FMCSA English proficiency standards. This role emphasizes safety and effective communication with Foreman and crew.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• FMCSA English proficiency requirements for drivers (CDL) - read, speak English and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow Foreman/ Superintendent directions on daily schedule.
• Operate power and hand tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and secure area daily.
• Coordinate with crew and communicate effectively.
• Report equipment issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE usage.
• Support safety meetings and training.
