Job summary

Cleary Building Corp. in Moriarty, NM is seeking a Construction Foreman in Training to lead a small crew and learn to manage projects from start to finish.

This hands-on program emphasizes learning to read blueprints, organize job sites, and develop leadership and communication skills under mentorship. Participants gain structured on-the-job training, exposure to scheduling and project management, and pathways to a Foreman role within a stable, year-round construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior building trades experience required.
• Leadership or crew management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading a crew of 3–4 construction laborers
• Construct pre-engineered post-frame structures from start to finish
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Learn to organize job sites and supervise crews
• Operate hand and power tools, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment
• Work from heights up to 35 feet on ladders and aerial work platforms
• Drive a one-ton crew cab truck, haul trailers, and operate skid steers
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, full-time, year-round construction work
