Qualifications

  • 3+ years as foreman, lead field supervisor, superintendent, or similar.
  • Strong background in excavation, concrete work, site layout, and fencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and field documents.
  • Experience directing crews and maintaining productivity on active sites.
  • Willingness to travel and pass pre-employment screening.

  • Coordinate daily work plans, manpower, materials, and equipment to stay on schedule.
  • Review drawings, scopes, and installation details for accuracy.
  • Oversee site safety, pre-task planning, and compliance with requirements.
  • Track progress, maintain daily reports, and report to leadership.
  • Support installation activities tied to site access improvements and civil work.
  • Manage subcontractor coordination, field quality, punch items, and closeout docs.
  • Identify material and equipment needs for current and upcoming phases.
  • Train and mentor crew members on safe methods and quality expectations.
  • Represent the company professionally at sites and maintain customer relationships.

Construction Foreman

Location: On Site in Nashville, TN

A growing construction and infrastructure services organization is seeking a hands-on Construction Foreman to help lead high impact field projects across secure, high visibility environments. This is an opportunity to step into a trusted leadership role where you will guide crews, keep work moving safely and efficiently, and contribute to projects that demand precision, accountability, and strong field execution. What You Will Do
  • Lead small field crews in the execution of onsite construction activities across multiple project locations.
  • Coordinate daily work plans, manpower, materials, and equipment to keep jobs moving on schedule.
  • Review drawings, scopes, and installation details to support accurate layout and field execution.
  • Oversee site safety practices, pre task planning, and compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Track progress, maintain daily reports, and communicate updates to project leadership and site stakeholders.
  • Support installation activities tied to site access improvements, structural foundations, fencing systems, gates, conduit pathways, and related civil work.
  • Manage subcontractor coordination, field quality, punch items, and closeout documentation.
  • Help identify material and equipment needs for active work and upcoming phases.
  • Train and mentor crew members on safe work methods, equipment use, and quality expectations.
  • Represent the company professionally at project sites and help maintain strong customer relationships.
What You Bring
  • At least 3 years of experience in a foreman, lead field supervisor, superintendent, or similar construction leadership role.
  • Strong background in excavation, concrete work, site layout, utility pathway installation, or fencing related construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and field documents.
  • Experience directing crews and maintaining productivity in active jobsite environments.
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment used for excavation, lifting, grading, and material handling.
  • Requires a clean driving record and flexibility to travel on a recurring basis in support of active projects and business needs.
  • Ability to pass standard pre-employment screening and access controlled work environments.
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a dependable work ethic.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, government, infrastructure, or secure facility construction.
  • Comfort working with rented equipment, field purchasing, daily cost awareness, and jobsite documentation.
  • Familiarity with project closeout materials such as receipts, field reports, punch tracking, and as built updates.
Work Environment and Travel

This is an on-site role based in Nashville, TN with frequent travel to project locations. Assignments may involve extended time in the field, physical site activity, and work in changing outdoor conditions. Candidates should be comfortable lifting materials, working with tools and equipment, and performing the physical tasks commonly required on active construction sites.
