Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on construction skills, including carpentry and concrete work.

Role Description

The Construction Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on structural and civil construction projects. This role coordinates and supervises crews, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project plans, building codes, and company quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include organizing labor and materials, directing carpentry and concrete work, monitoring heavy equipment usage, and collaborating with project managers and engineers to resolve site issues. The Construction Foreman also conducts site inspections, maintains project documentation, and communicates progress, challenges, and safety concerns to stakeholders. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe jobsite, mentoring team members, and supporting efficient and high-quality execution of complex hillside, foundation, and structural projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong hands‑on construction skills, including Carpentry and familiarity with concrete‑related work.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in inspecting work, enforcing standards, and adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
• Candidates should possess Heavy Equipment operation or coordination skills, including working around excavation, lifting, and grading equipment.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for directing crews, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and reporting site conditions.
• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Civil Engineering principles related to structural integrity, grading, drainage, and site safety.
