Insight Global is seeking an experienced Data Center Structured Cabling Supervisor / Lead Technician to oversee structured cabling installations in data center environments, ensure quality, coordinate field resources, and support critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on fiber optics and copper cabling experience, including Room 1 buildouts and label creation, with a focus on safety, adherence to AWS requirements, and clear communication with project teams.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site visits to verify installations meet scope, standards, and docs.
• Perform quality inspections of cabling and fiber within data center environments.
• Review work against cutsheets, drawings, and specs for compliance.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions to avoid impacts on schedules or customers.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and site access across projects.
• Support Room 1 build activities, deployments, and labeling per AWS requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and field teams to ensure project success.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety policies.
• Track progress and communicate risks and status to stakeholders.
• Support fiber and copper cabling installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Structured Cabling Supervisor / Lead Technician with hands-on experience supporting Data Center environments. This role is responsible for overseeing structured cabling installations, ensuring quality standards are met, coordinating field resources, and supporting critical infrastructure projects within mission-critical data center facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured cabling, fiber optics, and telecommunications infrastructure, including experience with Room 1 buildouts and label creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site visits to verify installations meet project scope, customer standards, engineering documentation, and quality requirements.
• Perform quality inspections of structured cabling and fiber optic installations within AWS/Amazon data center environments.
• Review work against cutsheets, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Identify installation issues and implement corrective actions before they impact customers, schedules, or project deliverables.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and site access across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Support Room 1 build activities, infrastructure deployments, and labeling standards in accordance with AWS requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company and customer safety policies.
• Track project progress and communicate risks, challenges, and status updates to stakeholders.
• Support fiber optic and copper cabling installation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
