Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Manager, Construction Finance - Liquidity & Finance Integration in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on building operating models linking construction spend, funding, and commercial operations to entity-level financial results, ensuring covenant compliance and distributions.

The position requires 5+ years in finance with strong modeling skills, GAAP expertise, and the ability to communicate conclusions to executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project finance, infrastructure or energy finance, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build integrated three-statement models from scratch, including cash waterfalls, reserve accounts, and covenant tests.
• Expert Excel models: clean, auditable, usable by others.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial statement mechanics.
• Ability to explain model-driven conclusions to executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated three-statement operating models for project entities.
• Model entity cash flows through to distributions, including waterfalls and reserve requirements.
• Track covenant compliance and headroom on forecast and actuals.
• Run sensitivities and cost–benefit analyses to support decisions.
• Support liquidity forecasting and identify funding pressures.
• Produce forecasts tied to schedule and execution progress.
• Establish modeling standards and develop reusable templates.
• Coach analysts through model reviews and hands-on development.
• Integrate entity models into consolidated budgets and forecasts for FP&A.
