Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least 5+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Proven leadership of a team of 5–10.
• Hands-on controller mindset with reconciliation and reporting skills.
• Strong month-end close discipline and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and financial statements under GAAP.
• Prepare variance, trend, and ratio analyses for leadership.
• Manage cash forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Own the annual budgeting process and ongoing planning.
• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate filings, taxes, and licensing requirements.
• Partner with banking, bonding, and audit professionals.
