The role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership and requires 5+ years in accounting/finance leadership, construction GC cost accounting experience, and strong WIP/POC knowledge. Procore, Sage, Viewpoint, CMiC experience is preferred; CPA/CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting/finance leadership.
• Construction General Contractor job cost accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of WIP schedules & POC revenue recognition.
• Experience with Sage, Viewpoint, CMiC, or similar systems.
• Comfortable partnering with project teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting and monthly close.
• WIP schedules and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Job cost reporting and margin analysis.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital strategy.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and compliance.
• Support PMs with cost visibility and projections.
• Lead audits, banking relationships, and reporting.
• Build and mentor an accounting team.
• Improve systems, processes, and financial controls.
