Job summary

MEC Industrial, a Mass Electric Construction Co. subsidiary, is seeking a Finance Analyst to support construction projects from $1M to $4B in accounting, finance, and operations.

You’ll help with cost control, payroll, A/P and A/R, and contribute to month-end close and financial reporting for project management. This entry‑level role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 0–2 years experience, proficiency in Excel, and willingness to travel/relocate up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; Pivot Tables and V-LookUps preferred.
• Effective communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance for projects.
• Assist with month‑end close and prepare financial reporting packages for project management.
• Learn and apply cost and revenue tracking processes across labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
• Collaborate with Operations to forecast and budget and ensure accurate reporting.
• Foster strong customer service mindset and maintain organized, timely work outputs.
