The Planet Group is seeking a Construction Finance Analyst to support a semiconductor/construction client in Chandler, AZ. This hybrid, contract position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field, with about 5–12 years of cost management and project finance experience.

Responsibilities include cash flow forecasting, budgeting, spend analysis, change orders, and regular cost-meeting leadership with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Approximately 5–12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong cost management, finance, and/or project planning experience.
• Experience on construction projects and with budgets, cash flows, forecasts.
• Advanced Excel skills and data management abilities.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, and cost management applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Office, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow forecasts for the capital construction team.
• Issue monthly, quarterly, and total project funding and commitment forecasts.
• Manage and control capital project budgets and spending at the WBS level.
• Create WBS codes and ensure proper scope alignment.
• Validate and approve purchase requisitions and change orders.
• Review invoices and ensure proper coding for AP submission.
• Monitor contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages and report.
• Lead cost meetings with contractors and engineering teams.
• Manage, validate, and track change orders.
• Perform spend-to-forecast variance analysis and forecasting.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis.
• Prepare ad hoc financial and project reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies and standards; support cost controls and reporting.
