Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Construction Finance Specialist to manage financial administration for construction and development projects in Los Angeles. You will track budgets, process draw requests, and support monthly cost reporting and variance analysis.

The role is in-office with collaboration across project teams and external partners. Strong Excel skills and understanding of construction accounting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction finance, real estate finance, or project accounting.
• Working knowledge of construction draw processes and job cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with construction draw or project accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Track construction project budgets, committed costs, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and process construction draw requests, coordinating required documentation with project managers, lenders, and general contractors.
• Assist with monthly job cost reporting and budget-to-actual variance analysis for assigned projects.
• Reconcile construction-related invoices, retainage, and lien waiver documentation.
• Support the preparation of project financial status reports for internal and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Development, Construction Management, and Property Accounting teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Maintain organized project finance files and documentation to support audits and lender reviews.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis related to construction and development activity.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
