Job summary

Job Overview

Ragle Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking Field Survey Tech to support highway and bridge construction projects in West Texas.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time may be required.

Location of work: West Texas areas.

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Layout of curbs, road centerlines, slope stakes, sewer locations, waterlines, and miscellaneous features.
• Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Verify the accuracy of field survey data.
• Proficient in reading plans.
• Able to perform Topographic and Asbuilt Surveys.
• Generate surface models for construction equipment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Survey Tech.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations.
• Strong understanding of TXDOT plans and specifications.
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Knowledge of Construction Practices.
• Knowledge of Industrial Practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of GPS, Robotic, and Machine Control Equipment.
• Knowledge of CAD-based computer software.

Key Experience

• CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
• Land surveying: 1 year (Preferred)

License & Certification

• Driver's License (Required)

Relocation

Relocate to Midland, TX 79705 before starting work (Required).
