Job Overview
Ragle Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking Field Survey Tech to support highway and bridge construction projects in West Texas.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time may be required.
Location of work: West Texas areas.
Job Details & Responsibilities
- Layout of curbs, road centerlines, slope stakes, sewer locations, waterlines, and miscellaneous features.
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of field survey data.
- Proficient in reading plans.
- Able to perform Topographic and Asbuilt Surveys.
- Generate surface models for construction equipment.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Survey Tech.
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations.
- Strong understanding of TXDOT plans and specifications.
- Able to work independently and efficiently.
- Knowledge of Construction Practices.
- Knowledge of Industrial Practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of GPS, Robotic, and Machine Control Equipment.
- Knowledge of CAD-based computer software.
Key Experience
- CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
- Land surveying: 1 year (Preferred)
License & Certification
- Driver's License (Required)
Relocation
Relocate to Midland, TX 79705 before starting work (Required).
