Job Overview

DNT Construction, LLC is hiring for a Survey Field Engineer position in the San Antonio and Austin area offices. The role is Monday–Saturday with potential overtime. On‑the‑job training is provided. No prior experience is required, but motivated individuals are encouraged to apply.

We work with the latest technology in the Survey Field including Trimble GPS, Robotics, and Topcon GPS machine control units.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew chief in completing the daily task list.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments and field personnel to deliver requested layouts.
• Keep the work truck loaded with necessary materials.
• Set up, care for, and maintain robotic and GPS survey equipment assigned to the crew.
• Use hand tools such as a 10 lb sledgehammer, a 16 oz hammer, and a 5 lb pickaxe.

Ideal Candidate

• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
• Hold a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Work outdoors in all weather for extended periods.
• Communicate effectively with management and field personnel.
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
