Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC seeks an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations and lead trades on a project. You will ensure work aligns with the planned sequence and schedule while enforcing safety and quality control procedures on site.

Responsibilities include supervising installation, understanding contract scope, managing activity durations, optimizing equipment use, tracking delivery dates, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline preferred but not required
• 3 to 6 years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role
• Demonstrated ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers
• Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower, etc
• Well versed in safety and government regulations (e.g., OSHA) with success in implementation on a job site

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work per contract documents
• Be aware of project milestone dates and requirements to achieve them
• Understand scope of work for assigned areas/trades
• Develop understanding of duration of each activity
• Plan for optimum utilization of equipment
• Know delivery dates for materials/equipment affecting areas/trades
• Manage field workforce and budgets to stay on track
• Implement and enforce safety programs and standards
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate work
• Recruit top talent to join Clark team and retain outstanding people
• Exceed stakeholders' expectations by anticipating needs and goals
