Waypoint Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on government and commercial construction projects.

The role requires overseeing production activities to keep work safe, on schedule, and within contract parameters while upholding quality standards. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of general contracting experience, a BS degree preferred, and credentials such as OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of general contracting experience, government/commercial sector preferred.
• BS degree preferred.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Current OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR credentials; if not, must obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and sequencing to meet milestones.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors and labor; coordinate lookahead schedules.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and coordinate inspections.
• Verify quality of installation and compliance with plans, specs, and submittals.
• Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and project closeout activities.
• Participate in Owner–Architect–Contractor meetings.
