Job summary

Hri,-Inc. is seeking a field supervisor to oversee craft crews on PennDOT projects in Pennsylvania.

The hourly, non-exempt role involves working under direct and indirect supervision and coordinating with the Project Superintendent to meet specifications, safety requirements, and production pace. The position requires planning manpower, materials, trucking, and traffic control, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must successfully complete PennDOT Flagger Training.
• CPR and first aid trained.
• Must obtain and maintain all mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned crew members to ensure tasks are safely and productively completed in a timely manner with a high quality finished product.
• Plan work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, trucking and equipment requirements, and traffic control needs.
• Monitor work performance and productivity to ensure project rules and safety requirements are followed.
• Advise superintendents or project management of potential problems and assist in resolving them.
• Complete quantity reports and daily diary notes as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with other departments to support construction schedule.
• Promote positive public relations and image and ensure a safe working environment.
