Job summary

CPPI, a long-standing construction firm, seeks an Assistant Superintendent to join our field team in New York. You will support the Superintendent and Project Manager by ensuring safety, quality, and cost controls while coordinating daily construction activities with architects, consultants, and subcontractors.

Strong reading of plans and team collaboration are essential. This role requires a high school diploma, a bachelor's degree preferred in construction-related field, and at least four

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a similar construction role.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project schedules, subcontracts, and responsibilities listings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Team on plans and codes.
• Support all aspects of the project from demolition to finish.
• Read blueprints and specifications to support field work.
• Order materials and schedule inspections.
• Foster positive relationships with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide administrative support to the Project Superintendent and project staff.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Personnel, and Subcontractors.
• Assist in schedule updates and permit acquisition.
