EZARC in Phoenix is seeking a construction field laborer to assist skilled craft workers and support various trades on site. You will load materials, follow supervisor instructions, and help ensure tools and equipment are ready for the crew.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and practical learning in a dynamic outdoor environment with varying shifts. Candidates must be able to pass background checks and drug screening and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with welding operations, preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leads.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment including complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
• Assist crew to ensure all materials, tools, and equipment is ready and available before starting work.
• Perform spotting and/or fire watch duties to assist journeyman ironworkers and apprentices.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
• Reduce waste with good housekeeping practices, keeping materials and tools organized, return tools when not in use, etc.
