Job summary

Cornerstone Concilium, Inc. is seeking an experienced inspector to perform construction inspection across civil, mechanical, structural, roofing and general contracting disciplines on WMATA projects. The role ensures compliance with plans, specifications and approved means, methods, and procedures.

Occasional nights and weekends at WMATA sites are required. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of multi-discipline inspection experience, 5 years supporting multiple tasks, and OSHA

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a civil/mechanical/structural/roofing/general contracting inspector.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting multiple tasks.
• Practical knowledge of engineering and construction practices and applicable codes/regulations.
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Course completed.
• Location at WMATA construction sites; nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection work across civil, electrical, communications, mechanical, structural, roofing and general contracting to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensure work complies with approved plans, specifications, means/methods, and procedures.
• Receive assignments from and report to the MATOC Program Manager, WMATA Task Manager, or designated representative.

Major duties and responsibilities

Perform construction inspection work related to civil electricalcommunications mechanical structural roofing and general contracting to ensure compliance with plans and specificationsEnsure work is in compliance with approved plans and specifications of each project along with approved means methods and proceduresReceive assignments from and report to the MATOC Program Manager WMATA Task Manager or designated representative

Background and experience required
