Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus eight years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience.
• The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• OSHA30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall health and safety direction on assigned projects sites.
• Administrative duties of the safety program at construction sites.
• Document accidents/incidents and near misses with proper reporting.
• Perform root-cause investigations and recommend hazard controls.
• Lead safety training and maintain site safety plans.
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies by field personnel.
• Maintain project safety documentation and regulatory reports.
• Provide safety orientation and site orientation for contractors and staff.
• Conduct daily site inspections and use safety checklists.
