NOW HIRING: Facility Management Safety Specialist
Denver, CO | On-site | Full-Time | $59,229 – $71,075/year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Interviews will begin the week of June 15th

Onboarding Requirements:

  • Fingerprint-based (federal level) background check (all history considered)
  • Five professional references
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Reliable transportation (not relying on public transit) & Valid Driver's license

A respected organization in the public sector is seeking a Facility Management Safety Specialist to lead safety efforts across more than 100 construction and maintenance projects, partnering with facility managers, staff, and site leaders to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and promote a safety culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site safety reviews (daily, weekly, monthly) and identify compliance issues
  • Advise the Safety Manager on hazards, trends, and prevention opportunities
  • Plan and deliver employee safety training (chemical handling, lifting/moving, etc.)
  • Maintain safety records, reports, and presentations
  • Assist in developing and improving safety policies
  • Investigate issues such as faulty equipment, chemical use, and structural concerns

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in safety compliance or a related field (education + experience acceptable)
  • Associate’s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience
  • Effective communication skills across all staff levels
  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
  • Strong computer skills and experience with training presentations

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or related field
  • Safety certifications such as ASP, COSS, or similar
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, and Colorado playground safety codes
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
