Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an Expeditor for distribution construction to manage pre-construction requirements. Responsibilities include verifying site packets, permits, locates, and preparing final project packets for handover to clients.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, problem solving, and the ability to work with field crews and suppliers in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma required; associate/bachelor preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in the utility industry is desirable.
• Direct experience in distribution line construction and/or services.
• Understanding of basic electrical concepts in materials and services.
• Proficient computer skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) and good written & oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule with vendors to support construction projects.
• Verify permits and ensure compliance with local codes and state laws.
• Review bill of materials and request missing items or resolve discrepancies.
• Lead problem resolution and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain project records, packets, and handover documents for clients.
