Lloyd Companies is seeking an Expeditor to maintain site cleanliness and coordinate labor and subcontractors on construction sites. The role includes delivering equipment and materials, assisting with punch lists, and operating tools safely.
Ideal candidates will have construction experience, the ability to read construction documents and tape measures, and a strong understanding of OSHA standards. A valid driver's license and flexible schedule are required.
The Expeditor is responsible for the cleanliness of the construction site through cleaning by yourself at times or coordinating day laborers and subcontractors to remove waste materials. Expeditors are often tasked with the delivery of equipment and materials to construction sites and assist in unloading trucks. An important role of an Expeditor is working to complete punch lists from owners and architects towards the end of a project. Expeditors also need to be capable of operating tools and equipment in a safe manner to complete their work.
Highschool diploma, construction experience preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction documents and contracts. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, & customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Heavy lifting will be required at times.
The job is performed outdoors and indoors on construction sites with occasional time spent in an office setting.
Must be aware and conform to all safety requirements when in the building, operating motor vehicles, or in the field performing duties for the company.
