Job summary

Clark Water is seeking a Construction Executive to lead field operations on wastewater treatment project sites. You will supervise both self-performed and contracted work, ensuring adherence to contract documents, schedule, quality, and safety standards, while driving a culture of excellence across Clark Water teams.

You will develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, manage logistics, and coordinate with internal leadership and clients.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience on wastewater treatment projects.
  • Experience leading large dam/reservoir/heavy civil projects.
  • 6+ years leading, developing and motivating teams.
  • Knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable safety regulations (OSHA).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the timely and cost-effective installation of the contracted work on the project or multiple projects.
  • Implement safety programs and conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and update the project schedule and manage critical milestones.
  • Communicate the schedule effectively with contractors and project stakeholders; lead multidisciplinary meetings for buy-in.
  • Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing team.
  • Cultivate client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.

Job description

As a Construction Executive at Clark Water, you will leverage your capacity for innovation and problem solving to lead and oversee all field operations on a project to ensure an exceptional project is delivered to our clients. You will supervise self-performed and contracted work ensuring compliance with contract documents and the project schedule while also implementing a culture of safety and quality.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead the timely and cost-effective installation of the contracted work of the project or multiple projectsImplement safety programs and conduct regular safety inspections to ensure all working conditions and work practices are in compliance with company, contract, and government regulationsImplement a culture of safety and quality among Clark employees and subcontractorsCreate a plan to successfully sequence the work, manage jobsite logistics, and track materials & personnelMaintain a high quality of work consistent with project and company standardsTakes initiative and personal responsibility to deliver a project on schedule and on budgetDevelop and update the project schedule and exhibit a command of critical schedule milestonesCommunicate the schedule effectively with contractors and project stakeholders. Lead multi-disciplinary meetings to gain universal buy-in on the project schedule. Develop and maintain recovery schedulesManage, mentor, and develop team members to build a highly functioning teamCultivate and build new and existing client relationships.
