Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator to support water and wastewater projects across Florida. The role focuses on developing bids, conceptual budgets, and cost proposals for municipal infrastructure with a strong emphasis on collaboration with operations leaders and field teams.

You will prepare detailed estimates, analyze plans, and coordinate with subcontractors, while leveraging a background in process mechanical, civil, and utilities scopes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Background with municipal or public infrastructure projects.
• Experience with process mechanical, concrete structures, utilities, and civil scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for water and wastewater treatment plant projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and bid leveling
• Analyze plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Coordinate closely with project management and field operations teams
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Develop conceptual budgets during early project planning
• Support proposal preparation and client presentations
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors in the utilities market

Job Details

This is a high-impact estimating position where you will work closely with operations leaders, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and conceptual budgets.
