Job summary

GenServ in West Bridgewater, MA is seeking an experienced construction estimator to prepare, estimate, and analyze costs for projects. The role includes evaluating plans, materials, labor, and time, and creating proposals with budgets and project plans.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and Civil/Construction Engineering degree required.
• OSHA 10 preferred or will certify upon hire.
• 3–5 years of construction estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, and blueprints to prepare estimates.
• Visit sites to gather requirements and confirm details.
• Compare bids from suppliers and contractors.
• Calculate material, labor, and time costs for estimates.
• Prepare budgets, reports, and project plans.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, engineers, and contractors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage docs.
