Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

This New Jersey-based Design-Build General Contractor is looking for a strong Construction Estimator with at least 5 years of full-time estimating experience in Pharma, Interiors, or Commercial General Construction bids.

Description

The Construction Estimator - Pharma/Interiors New Jersey will:

• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
• Prepare work estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Resolve discrepancies through data analysis
• Present estimates with clear numerical and descriptive information
• Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends
• Develop budgets for conceptual, schematic, and design development phases
• Review plans for accuracy and consistency
• Manage take-offs applying unit prices
• Collaborate with preconstruction team to bid projects successfully
• Develop into a team leader within estimating

Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least 5 years of estimating experience in General Construction
• Experience bidding projects valued at $5 million or more in Pharma, Interiors, or General Construction
• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field
