Job summary

Structis Construction Solutions Group is seeking a Construction Estimator in the Southeast region to prepare budgets for multifamily, commercial, and residential projects. The role involves taking off square footage, downloading plans, and generating bid proposals using estimating software.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of estimating experience, a college degree is a plus, and strong skills in CAD, Planswift, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years estimating experience

• Excellent MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills
• Computer Aided Design and blueprint reading
• Working knowledge of Planswift a plus
• Independent, multitasker with deadline-oriented focus
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Estimate/take off square footage for multi-family developments within a specialty contractor scope
• Download plans and perform takeoffs; enter data into estimating software for bid proposals
• Communicate with contractors, PMs, estimators and architects to gather information
• Multitask effectively to provide bids before deadlines
• Coordinate with sales staff on bid process
• Coordinate material and labor takeoffs in estimating database
