SteerBridge in Washington, DC is seeking a Construction Manager – Estimator (CM-EST) to provide estimating, cost analysis, and project controls for VA medical facility projects. You will act as the Government's owner’s representative for cost estimating and cost control across planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout in a healthcare environment.

The role requires reviewing plans and schedules of values, analyzing labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, and preparing cost

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and analyzing construction estimates, schedules of values, monthly payment requests, and change orders.
• Credentials identifying completed work on multiple projects and ability to provide an estimating work sample.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Government's owner’s representative for estimating and cost control across all project phases.
• Prepare, review, and validate cost estimates and change orders.
• Review plans, specifications, and contractor proposals for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze pricing, labor, material, and subcontractor costs using current market data.
• Maintain accurate estimating files and cost databases in accordance with VA requirements.
