Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Contracts Manager to join our fast-paced Sales industry. This role involves negotiating and managing contracts, with a focus on contract law, drafting, redlining, and negotiation skills, and managing complex contracts.

Responsibilities

1. Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various contracts including sales, licensing, and service agreements.
2. Maintain and manage the contract database, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure contracts meet business objectives and legal requirements.
4. Review contracts for risks and propose mitigation strategies.
5. Facilitate the contract approval process.
6. Provide expert advice on contract matters in board meetings.
7. Implement and manage a contract lifecycle management system.
8. Ensure compliance with governance policies.
9. Train staff on contract procedures.
10. Stay updated on contract law and industry regulations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; Juris Doctor is a plus.
2. At least 3 years of experience in contract management, preferably in sales.
3. Experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts.
4. Strong understanding of contract law.
5. Proficiency in contract database systems.
6. Experience with licensing agreements and corporate governance.
7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
9. Strong analytical skills for risk identification and solutions.
10. Experience participating in board meetings.
