Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience estimating.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
• Conceptual, Schematic Design, and Design Development.
• Construction document budgets and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients and their representatives.
• Develop accurate and complete job estimates.
• Identify project labor, material, and time requirements.
• Study proposals, blueprints, written specifications and related documents.
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to know project scope.
• Conduct review and take-off of blueprints.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors.
• Gather subcontractor pricing and conduct scope review.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids to ensure full scope of work was considered.
• Calculate costs of subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials.
• Collaborate with the client to help them achieve their project cost budget.
