WEHR Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to prepare estimates for new construction, additions, and renovations ranging from 100k to over 100M.

The role requires gathering information, reviewing documents for scope and risk, and performing quantity take-offs with input from subcontractors and suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of related experience; high school diploma or GED considered with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years related experience preferred; high school diploma/GED accepted with experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize workload by gathering information and requirements; manage workload to meet deadlines for budgets and bids.
• Review construction documents to identify scope and risk.
• Perform quantity take-offs for assigned scopes.
• Prepare estimates including self-perform costs and subcontractor/supplier quotes.
• Make bid recommendations to VP of Estimating based on cost analysis and risk.
