Responsibilities

• Apoyar el proceso de licitación desde la toma de cantidades hasta la presentación de propuestas.
• Analizar dibujos y especificaciones, realizar tomas de cantidades y compilar propuestas de precios.
• Coordinar con proveedores para obtener cotizaciones de materiales y asistir con RFIs.

A well-established commercial window manufacturer is seeking an Estimator to join their team in the Washington, DC metro area. The company specializes in pre-glazed fenestration products for large-scale projects such as multi-family and high-rise buildings throughout the region.

About the Role

The Estimator will support the full bid process—from take-offs and pricing to proposal submission. You’ll work closely with suppliers, review architectural drawings, and help secure new business by producing accurate, competitive estimates.

As an Estimator, you will analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents; perform quantity take-offs; and compile pricing proposals. You’ll coordinate with vendors to gather material quotes, prepare submittals, assist with RFIs, and contribute to value engineering. The role also involves supporting awarded projects from initial estimate through completion, ensuring alignment with project scope and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have Construction Estimating experience (Commercial Windows experience desired)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable with tight deadlines and fast-paced work
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
